The showcase is our year-end performance where our students get to perform choreographed dance routines for friends and family. The showcase is not mandatory, but we encourage all dancers to participate! The dancers have started rehearsing for the showcase and will continue to practice their routines every week. Each class will still be used to continue working on technique and performance skills. If you or your dancer doesn't wish to participate, that is no problem. Every dancer will still fully participate in class throughout the rest of this class semester.

 

If you or your child wish to participate, you will need to register by Monday, March 20, 2022. Registration is $50.00 per student. A Registration Form needs to be submitted by or for each individual dancer. 

 

Costume information will be sent after registration has been confirmed! Costume prices are not included in the registration fee and costumes are non-refundable.

SHOWCASE TIME & LOCATION

The Showcase will be Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Boca Block Box – 8221 Glades Road #10, Boca Raton, FL 33434.

 

DRESS REHEARSAL/ PHOTOGRAPHS

Dress Rehearsal will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Boca Block Box – 8221 Glades Road #10, Boca Raton, FL 33434. **THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. DROP OFF ONLY. **

 

For the dress rehearsal, students are expected to be on time, dressed in full costume and make-up (if necessary), and ready to dance. Please make sure your child’s name is on their costume and shoes. During dress rehearsal, solo and group pictures will be taken while waiting to perform. 

 

TICKETS

Each registered student receives 2 complimentary tickets to the showcase. Additional tickets are $5.00 each. Parents and friends are allowed to purchase up to 5 additional tickets per student. Please only order the actual number of additional tickets you will use. Audience tickets will become available once registration is closed. Children 2 years of age and younger do not need a ticket if they are sitting on an adult’s lap. However, if you want your child to have a seat, you must buy a ticket. Limited spots available due to social distancing guidelines. Seating is first come, first served.

COSTUMES

The cost of costumes ARE NOT included in the student’s registration fee. Please be sure to submit yours and/or your child’s Registration Form and measurements by March 20, 2022. Most students will not receive their costumes until dress rehearsal.

 

In order to ensure the costume does not go out of stock, or risk of not having your size, it is best to register early! All costumes are non-refundable. If for some reason your dancer has to withdraw from class and the showcase at a later time, we will need 30 days advance written notice to drop the class and will contact you when the costume has arrived for you to take home. Sometimes there are late enrollments that want to participate in the showcase and if they happen to be in the same class and same size, we can see what we can do about selling your costume to that dancer.

 

DRESSING ROOMS

There will be 2 bathrooms and 2 dressing rooms available for all students. If you are participating in more than 1 performance, you and/or your child will be directed to the appropriate dressing room. Assistance with costumes, make-up, and hair will be provided. Masks are required.

 

VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for volunteers to help at the showcase. Parents who volunteer are with their child’s dance class the entire showcase and will not need a ticket for a seat. If interested, please contact Rosalie Galante!

 

PARKING

Spots available throughout the plaza. Please make sure you allow yourself enough time to park.
